RMA-Episode 27 Show Notes:
And we’re BACK. Mike and Nat dive into a discussion of Dr. Carl Hart’s new book Drug Use for Grown-Ups, and share their thoughts on Dr. Hart’s advocacy of recreational heroin use. Also, Mike tells a 1980s story about an unsuccessful attempt to return a vial of crack to a dealer and get his money back because he didn’t like the size of the rock. Hilarity ensues!
Plus, the weekly round-up, Recovery in the News, (MDMA to treat Alcohol Use Disorder?), and the Week in Weird, (Get Your Ass to Mars), on a cabin-fevered, well-rested episode of Recovery in the Middle Ages.

If you’re in trouble with substance abuse and need help, reach out. There are thousands of people who have put problems with addiction in their rear-view mirrors and you can be one of them. While we neither endorse nor condemn any particular program, the sheer number of available AA and NA meetings suggest that reaching out to those organizations would be a good first step on the road to recovery.
